About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an intern to join us for five months, starting as soon as possible.  In this role you’ll work in close partnership with both our Marketing and Underwriting teams, learning from some of the brightest minds in the industry.  We’ll share a number of exciting and interesting tasks and projects with you – all focussed on helping us understand and research the pet ecosystem and competitor landscape.  You’ll help us learn about new initiatives within the world of pet health – and the products, services, and strategies our competitors are deploying.

Your Focus

  • Support both the Underwriting and Marketing teams with research projects.
  • Compile competitor analysis reports on products, pricing, partnerships, and strategy, sharing your findings and insights with key stakeholders.
  • Compile market analysis reports to identify trends and customer pain points.
  • Take part in strategic projects, supporting both teams with analysis, data, and insight.
  • Attend internal meetings, presenting back your findings to a range of stakeholders.
  • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations and support with administrative team materials.
  • Provide suggestions to our Leadership where we can improve our customer offering, products, services, and internal processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • You’re able to commit to a 6 month-long internship with us, starting as soon as You’ll have the opportunity to create a flexible work schedule that includes a minimum of 15 hours per week with at least 10 hours during the work week.
  • You might have a relevant College level degree; however, we appreciate not everyone is able to pursue further education. Your life and commercial experience are just as valuable!
  • You might still be in education, have completed your studies, or are looking for a completely new way to try a different career path.
  • You’re proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and you’re able to learn new systems quickly.
  • You want to be part of a fast-paced, scale-up environment, like ours!
