About the Opportunity

Our Brand and Marketing team plays a pivotal role in spreading the word about ManyPets - making sure that our brand remains front of mind and consistent, at all points of the customer purchase journey.  We know there's so much more we can do (and we're anything but complacent) so we want to broaden our reach and hire a Head of Global Propositions to own the strategic direction that will help achieve our goal of "being the world's leading pet wellness subscription business."

You'll partner closely with both the Marketing and Partnerships teams to deliver new propositions that will build our portfolio and enable our global growth.  You'll test and build minimum viable products that are based on consumer insight - which you'll refine, iterate and shape to ensure we're doing the right thing for our customers in each market.  This is a big role with plenty of scope to make an impact - and do something different which helps pets and their parents.

There's a lot of scope and potential to have a big impact from day one and you'll be working as part of our global team, so you'll have exposure to stakeholders from across our whole business.  The opportunity will suit someone who is used to working in an entrepreneurial (and at times ambiguous) environment where change is constant - and flexibility is vital.  We're also a regulated business so you'll need to be comfortable switching between ensuring we're compliant - and innovative in equal measure.

Your Focus

Strategy and Delivery

  • Set the overall strategic direction for our approach to propositions, to helps to transform our offering into the world's leading pet wellness subscription business.
  • Deliver consumer insights that build a deep understanding of the "needs and wants" of pet parents across multiple markets - with a focus on our development in the USA.
  • Draw on multiple data sources to create clear insight for motivating propositions - this Includes anything from ad hoc research, user research, segmentation studies, financial information, and third-party studies.
  • Work closely with our Marketing and Partnerships teams to collaborate on propositions and concepts which will drive business growth.
  • Establish a series of minimum viable products which we can then test across our markets - prior to rollout.
  • Lead the review and appraisal of our portfolio - ensuring product market fit and financial delivery.
  • Own our pipeline of proposition development, including the application of prioritisation principles to align with our delivery plan and roadmap.
  • Partner with our Finance and Strategy teams to develop robust business cases which justify investment.

Compliance and Regulatory

  • Make sure all new and existing propositions are compliant in the territories they’re aimed for.
  • Liaise with our internal Compliance team to identify the impact of legal and regulatory changes; planning and implementing any training required.
  • Identifying learning and development needs which ensure compliance with PRA/FCA and company requirements.
  • Oversee any internal audit processes for your team and provide clear guidance, plus recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensuring appropriate provisions are in place that ensure the integrity of compliance, in line with the PRA/FCA requirements.

Leadership and Relationships

  • Partner with peers in different regions to lead or contribute to appropriate Guilds, which aim to create and deliver world-leading solutions for ManyPets, globally.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to your colleagues and wider team, that encourage both personal commitment and a high-performing culture.
  • Set individual objectives - carrying out regular performance reviews with the CMO to manage implement personal development plans.
  • Work with the wider team to provide regular informative updates to the team which maintain business awareness, performance, and morale.
  • Lead by example and role model our company values - inspiring others to do the same.
  • Help our team to deliver actionable insight across the business, helping us react to ever-changing market conditions.
  • Collaborate with People and Finance to implement resource plans and headcount.
  • Partner with People to recruit, onboard and embed talent within the Brand and Marketing team.

What We’re Looking For

  • You've worked globally - and have experience of working in the United States and UK as well as other European markets. You love to keep ahead of trends in different parts of the world.
  • You know how to use customer insight and segmentation to create change in business performance, customer experience and advocacy.
  • You're able to confidently execute a strategy at a local and global level. You'll know how to balance delivery in a local market, while working alongside a broader global team and brand.
  • Ideally, you'll have worked within a regulated industry like ours and you'll understand the risk, compliance, and regulatory environment that we operate within.
  • You'll have some experience of working in a changeable (and sometimes "scrappy") business like ours. Things move very quickly here, and it'll set you up for success if you've done this before.
