The Opportunity

ManyPets is a new fintech company shaking up the $75B pet industry by bringing empathy, love, and modernity to pet health insurance. Launched in March 2021 and born out of the UK’s fastest-growing pet insurance company, we offer a line of insurance products and pet health solutions to help pet parents care for their pets. We consider both the pet and the pet parent’s needs in everything we do. It's all part of our mission: to ensure the health and happiness of the world’s many pets – and their people.

We're looking for a customer-focused marketer to lead our product marketing efforts for one of our core product areas - pet insurance. Reporting to the US Director of Growth & Partnerships, this role will craft the product narrative, build connected go-to-market strategies, and explore additional growth opportunities. You'll bring your expertise in developing the right value proposition, positioning, messaging, and channel strategy that resonates with customers; as well as post-launch marketing programs.

As the first member of the US Product Marketing team, you'll have a pivotal role in building a world-class function and team within ManyPets. Your Focus

  • Influencing our future product development with a user-centric perspective, in particular audience development, positioning and value proposition frameworks, and roadmaps for new insurance product explorations
  • Identifying product needs and emerging trends in direct-to-consumer, commercial, employer, veterinarian, and shelter spaces.
  • Leading our go-to-market strategies by collaborating with our Brand, Commercial, Product, and Growth teams.
  • Driving our go-to-market execution for product and feature launches and ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Tracking and analyzing the impact of the work with our target customer in partnership with Product, Commercial, and Compliance teams.
  • Understanding the multiple players in the ecosystem (including consumers, policymakers, veterinarians, shelters, employers, and more)

What's Important

  • You'll likely be in a similar role and have a few years' experience within product marketing.
  • You're looking for a role with autonomy and the ability to craft and execute against a strategy - seeing things right through to completion.
  • You bring experience of both qualitative analysis and familiarity with A/B testing
  • You have experience working within Insurance/Insurtech or another similar hyper-growth, start-up or scale-up environment.
  • You'll be a compelling presenter with clear written and verbal communication. You'll know how to present and summarise information to diverse audiences - and can play the part of a copywriter as needed!
  • We'd love it if you had a relevant degree, however we appreciate not everyone is able to pursue further education. Your life and commercial experience are just as valuable!
